Allign, Move and Joint Problems

Hello Everyone,

I'm having a very frustrating time getting components to move, align and make joints. I can't even generate a midplane, after selecting two faces it previews the midplane, but the "OK" box is greyed out and will not allow me to accept a plane that it can obviously preview. This happens with as-built-joints, Modify/Cut, move and align. It's been happening in other models as well. What is going on here?

No problem to create joints with "Between two faces" in your file.

Did you do it like it is shown in the quick-tip video?

Yes I'm using similar methods to the video. The only thing that seems to have an effect is if I right click, then exit the right click. At which point the "OK" button becomes valid and produces the desired result. I just don't know why it won't allow that from the initial selection like it did a week ago.

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing that! Do you have access to another computer? If you do, are you seeing the same behavior?

If not, can you please share one of the files that's not acting as expected?

I can try on another computer later today, the first .f3d in post has the joint issue. This attached file (Langeveld Top v2) had some align issues, and it's the one that won't properly cut in the Press/Pull tool. If I select the faces in the tool (I want to add and cut these fillets) the "OK" is greyed out, and only becomes clickable (and works) if I right click somewhere and un-right click. Then "OK" becomes clickable and it performs the operation.
