Aligning a hole to a point

I really don't understand where I am going wrong here, this should be simple

I would normally do this by drawing the holes then extrude. However I want to use a countersunk bit so I want to use the 'hole' tool.  However I can't align the holes to the points.  I can't even reference the hole from the centre?

If you select the "From sketch (multiple holes)" tool, you can select the sketch points.

Also, instead of patterning the points in the sketch. only make one sketch point and then pattern the timeline feature for the hole.

I still don't understand how to set te hole at a precise distance from the edge or centre, it is easy with any other shape but a circle is proving difficult

It won't let me use 'reference' like I would with another shape, and if I create a 'point' then select that point for the hole I get

And i didn't understand what you meant about patterning the hole from the timeline,  the only thing I can seem to select is the outline of the hole, which isn't much use.
