Admin Permissions NOT working

Anonymous
Not applicable

About a month ago, the admin on our Fusion 360 account left our company and transferred admin permissions to myself.  However, although I am listed as a team admin, when I attempt to visit the project on the Fusion 360 website I do not get access to the project and am prompted with the following blurb.

"You do not have required permissions to perform this operation"

Any Suggestions?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I am assuming that you are referring to a Fusion Team hub? What is the project type of the project that you are trying to join (secret, open, closed)? In your admin settings (click your user icon on the top-right hand corner) and select Admin. Then, click on Projects. Do you see the project listed here? Also, if you expand that project and select Members and Roles, do you see yourself listed as an admin here?

I am referring to a Team Hub.  It is a closed project.

The project is listed, and I do see myself as an admin in the project.

Hi @Anonymous,

Okay, I'm taking a look at the HUB status now. Just to check, what URL are you using for your Team Hub, as I notice that you have two tied to your account. One is in a suspended status and the other seems to be active. I'd be curious if you are using the suspended one.

Thanks,

I know this account's trial subscription expired a few days ago. I'm working on renewing as a start up, but that's been a feat itself.

Nevertheless, this admin access issue has been present since I was assigned as an admin about a month ago.

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you try one thing for me - can you please try visiting createoandp1.autodesk360.com and signing in and see if you can access the project there? If not, can you send a screenshot of what you see including the URL that you are logged into? I'd be curious if the hubs may be getting confused.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for sharing. I think this is starting to smell like a back office issue to be honest with you. Can you provide me with a few things:

  • You mentioned your co-worker transferred this project. Was it from a personal hub to the team hub?
  • What is the problematic project name
  • Can you send a screenshot of the error message when you try to access the project

I'm not sure (I'm new to the company), but I believe the project was always part of the team hub.

Attached is the error message I see when trying to access the project.

I simply clicked to open the desired project and this is what it comes to. It also doesn't show any of the project's contents.

Hi @Anonymous,

Ahh, thanks for the screenshot. Actually I noticed in the project list that Sarah is apart of this project. I do believe that this is the same issue she reported a while back that is still not fixed yet. I know that the A360 team is working on a resolution for this and it does have to do with the project transfer. I've just followed up with this team to see the status.

From what Sarah reported, she can access all of the data from within Fusion 360, but on Fusion Team, she was unable to access it. Is this the same for you?

Thanks,

Yes, this is the same issue.

And yes, the access is the same for me.
