Additive - FFF Retraction not repriming

I'm not sure exactly when this problem started, but it's fairly recent.  In the Additive environment, I'm noticing that my prints no longer re-prime after retraction.  For example:

My retraction settings are very short, at only 0.4mm for direct extrusion.  My extruder retracts, but it does not appear it primes again as it resumes printing after a move or layer change.  It just resumes extruding once the nozzle comes back down, as if retraction was disabled.

I've tried updating my Creality post-processor, but that has not helped.  I've started totally new design files and imported my print settings again.  But this also has not helped.  Lastly, I even reinstalled Fusion 360, and that also did not fix the issue.

Retraction and re-priming worked just fine in previous versions, so I'm not sure what's changed to cause this issue.

I've attached an example file for reference.  I see the extruder retracting on layer changes or after completing infill on the base of this calibration cube.  But no priming after retracting is occurring.

@jodom4  and @lukas.fuhrmann

I was able to resolve the lack of retraction by reverting to Marlin 2.0.5.3, which is what I used prior to updating to Marlin 2.0.8.  I'm not sure what's up with the newer version, but retraction now functions correctly again.

I was able to replicate lack of retraction using Cura 4.9.1, as well.

So, this is not a Fusion 360 issue, this is a "Marlin not reading the retractions properly" issue.

@Eric_Schubert thank you for the feedback and also for providing the resolution. Glad to hear that you could identifiy the issue (and that it is not our fault 🙂 ). Please be sure to post again in the future if you have questions or find any issues.

Best Regards,

Lukas
