Adding a Fillet to a Sketch and Other Questions

Hello,

I am a new Fusion 360 user.  I am teaching myself Fusion 360 by following various tutorials on the Fusion site and YouTube.  I searched the forums and cannot find answers to my questions as related to the attached PDF.

1. How do I remove the grey lines, such as the arc that runs through the center of the piece.

2. How do I remove the purple line between the two points?

3. How do I add a fillet to this corner?  I tried using the fillet tab, but I am only able to select the light blue line and not the attached grey line.

4. Why are these lines blue and not black?

Thanks,

Marty

Hi Marty,

1. because I can't see some things from the PDF, please share the design*.

For example, it is not possible to see beyond doubt whether the elements you are talking about are in the active sketch or not.

2.  How do I remove the grey lines, such as the arc that runs through the center of the piece.

These are obviously lines from a non-active sketch.

Günther,

Thanks for taking the time to look at my piece.  I am not able to "break link."  This option doesn't show on the palette.  Here is the shareable link again:

Also, I attached a PDF of the drawing, with dimensions, that I am creating in Fusion.  I hope this gives some clarity.

Günther,

I was able to watch the screencast for the first time at work this morning.  Amazing!  Once I am done here, I will need to watch it at least one more time to follow the processes you used to correct the sketch.

Thank you very much for taking the time to help me correct my sketch problems.  You were under no obligation to help me, but you stepped up and helped a complete stranger.  Thank you for being helpful and thoughtful.

Hi Marty,
