I am a high school teacher who is trying to get my students to sign up for Autodesk accounts. Some of my students were able to get an education account without a problem, but I have dozens of others who aren't able to do it. They have completed the account sign up (email, b-day, school, etc.) and are at the point where they should be asked to provide documentation to verify that they are a student, after hitting confirm on this page: https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview?sorting=featured&filters=individual. After they hit confirm (before picture), students get an error (later picture) that says:
"Apologies for the delay. The verification system is currently experiencing a problem. We're working hard to resolve the issue. Please try again later."
It has been well over a month and my students still get this error and cannot verify their accounts. I have had entire classes contact Autodesk Virtual Assistant with hardly any luck. At best, we were told to email the education support team. The education support team said the problem was with SheerID, so we contacted them. SheerID said they had not received any requests for accounts with our email addresses. We emailed the education support team back, but there has not been any response. The one thing that has worked was is when customer service resets a student's account so they could start the process over, but finding an agent who is willing and able to do this is like finding a needle in a haystack.
My students' free trials have expired and I'm at the point where I may have drop Autodesk products altogether. Some students with this error have been able to create and verify an account with a personal email, but not all of my students have a non-school email address.
I have spent way too much time trying to get accounts for my students and I'm extremely frustrated by the lack of support in doing so. I'm desperate and posting here hoping for someone who can fix the issue.
