Account Lost Along with Data

Hi,

Sorry in advance if this is a lot to read through.

A little backstory first. I started using Fusion several years ago under an EDU license with my university email as I wanted a program to use at home for 3D CAD but also needed to use AutoCAD under my school's license for classes I was taking at the time. Fast forward several years, and I am at a different school and have lost access to my previous school's email system. I have been using this account for several years at this point, doing projects for myself and other people, so there is quite a bit of work on this account. The fact that I didn't have access to this email anymore didn't really matter to me because I could always log in. However, I did want to brush up on my drafting skills since I will probably be working in a job that requires it soon. I am enrolled in another university currently that AutoDesk supports EDU accounts for and decided I will just attempt to sign up for the EDU license again so I can mess with more than one drafting page and do simulations, etc. So I go through the verification process and realize I'm using my old EDU email and figured I should probably change it in case EDU verification requires an email to be sent. I'm not sure if this ever worked and I just gave up on registering for an EDU license at that time.

Recently I had a personal project pop up that required more than one page of drafting so I signed up for the EDU license. Only this time I somehow signed up under a different account that I didn't even know I had? After booting up Fusion on my computer on my regular account I realized the EDU license wasn't applying so I thought to myself, "maybe I have to uninstall and then reinstall using the download link from my EDU Programs and Licenses page". So I did just that and when trying to use my regular account, I just kept getting an "account not found" notification. This is the point where I realized the whole two accounts thing. At this point I started to panic. I can't reset the password because It's an email that I don't have access to anymore and I can't figure out how to access my data. My girlfriend saw this panic and stress and took matters into her own hands because she cares and used the previous login information for my regular account and..... decided to try registering for a new account with that information. Needless to say even if I reacquired access to my old EDU email, the account is now probably pointing to a brand new account that was just registered.

I sent an email to support a couple weeks ago but still haven't gotten anything back so I decided to see if anyone here could help.

If you need the previous account email addresses I was working with, please let me know, I just didn't want to put them in a public forum.

The current account I am using to make this post is the weird second account that I didn't know I had.

I really hope someone can help me here as several years of irreplaceable work was on that account and I'm absolutely terrified of it being gone.

Thank you in advance,

Cody
