If you are working with the rectangular pattern tool on a large screen it is easy to focus attention on the model and pop up distance prompt, and not see the larger 'rectangular pattern' data entry panel that might be well out of your main field of view. If you now inadvertently enter a large number (I was trying to elicit a response in the distance prompt and entered '11111111') and trigger a return the system goes off to generate that ridiculous pattern, effectively forcing you to shut down the program. It would be good to have a warning prompt if selected pattern parameters would result in large slow patterns.
