Well I have a hobbiest account and I have attempted to convert my design bodies into a 2 d drawing

I need to send this to a friend

how do I get the dimensions and how do I email the drawing to a friend?

Are you saying you cannot add them using the Drawing Dimension tool?  Model sketch dimension are not brought over to the 2D Drawing in Fusion 360, at least not yet.

As far as sending the drawing to someone, you can snap a screen capture of it  or you can share a Web Database link to it via email.  Click on this link to see a 2D drawing of one of my files.

If you mean adding dimensions, then if they do not appear I would suspect you have a graphics issue on your system as far as Fusion 360 is concerned.  Try and change your Fusion 360 graphics driver.  If you try these settings, Fusion 360 will have to restart so save your files first.

By the way, you need to be a little more descriptive on what you are seeing, show some screen captures in your replies.
