2d Drawing, Custom line width does not work.

If I use the built in options, line widths display correctly but the custom option has no affect over the last built in setting.

Below I saved as Very thick to demonstrate, then used custom settings but they have no affect.

Hi Mark,

Sorry to hear that you are facing an issue. Can you please help me to understand few scenarios?

  1. Once you set the line width to the custom value, did you try changing the zoom level so as to confirm line widths value are not getting reflected?
  2. Does this happen with all files or only with this file?
  3. Is this file created on different locale than English?
  4. If possible, please share the file over email - pramod.kadam@autodesk.com

Thanks,

@Pramod.kadam  Just done a bit of testing and it seems to only be a problem on a drawing using a custom imported title block. I'll see if I can come up with something I can share that has the same problem.

@HughesTooling

we tried the workflow which you suggested, it is working fine (refer video).

please revert back if you are referring to any other workflow.

One more suggestion, you can try following things

1. Try Zoom-in/Out after changing the line width, see weather you are able to see the changes or not?

2. Try exporting to dwg and see the actual line width in AutoCAD

If all above mention workflows doesn't work, than it would be great if you can share file with us.

As I said it works perfectly with the standard templates that come with Fusion. The problem template has a title block I imported as a DWG, the standard line width groups work but custom has no affect. I've tried saving to PDF as that's what my customer would need and the line widths are wrong there as well. See screencast.

I've tried to recreate this in another file but it is not repeatable. Link to a copy of the 2d drawing that has the problem.
