2D call-out boxes for "Design"?

There doesn't seem to be a way to add a basic label or note to a design nor a component. Why on earth not? Any collaborative design or even just for when you come back to something after a few months, you need a somewhere for words of explanation.

Or, if there is, how? What are people doing to get around this limitation?

Hey Nigel,

There's a comment feature on the bottom left corner of the canvas. You can take screenshots, comment on specific objects, or on a point.

Hi jodom, thanks for the reply, but that's not what I'm after.

I want to do something that looks like this:

You can probably tell that it's a direct screenshot from Fusion, labelled in Word. Having a label that could be "floating" on a layer would be great, you can do that with text on a sketch plane, but even better would be for it to rotate automatically according to the view.
