#1 on wish list, a spinning ball trash can.

I would be very grateful if I could slide the eternally spinning ball into a safe-box labeled, "sorry, I'll never do that again, if you will just let me take back my last evil command so that I can avoid the only other choice, a hard shutdown and subsequent restart". You know, just back one space. Bonus, nothing after the last auto-save would ever be lost.

Suggestion for what the box might look like: simply leave the back-arrow active. An extra bonus would be the back arrow blinking every time the ball spins, genius, right?

I have had luck pressing the ESC key and/or the Pause/Break key on my keyboard to kick Fusion out of a command.

ESC only works on a handful of commands.  We hope to expand that list, but for now, I think it is things like Shell and Fillet, which can have long compute times.  Doesn't work everywhere, unfortunately.

Thank you Brad! Uncommonly right now, the ball isn’t spinning but when it does, I will try your suggestion.

Thank you Jeff. In my book, your responses can’t be beat! The ball was spinning while I posted my wish. I went back and did the hard shutdown, which really scrambled my several days of work. I know that I don’t always play by the some of the basic rules, so I’m going back to improve on that before I restart the project.
