Purchase Order Taxes

Purchase Order Taxes

It would be a really handy feature if we could add taxes directly to the Purchase Order price. That way, we’d have a more accurate view of the actual cost of the PO. It would help us better understand the real expenses upfront instead of having to calculate it separately or guess later. This small addition could make a big difference in tracking and planning costs more effectively

Hi @landradeG37XQ

Thank you for posting this idea. Can you share more on how the taxes would allow a more accurate cost of the purchase order? The cost on Fusion Operations should include the actual cost and thus include the any taxes or other relevant costs.

Could you share more about your process of creating purchase orders? More specifically, if you creating those directly in Fusion Operations, or export and importing from another system.

we do those in fusion operations, please see attached the screenshot for a test I just did, I can add shipping cost and the unit cost, and then the PO will calculate automatically the total amount that is good, but there no space where I can add taxes to that final amount

Status changed to: Future Consideration

Thank you for your reply, @landradeG37XQ. We suggest you to include the tax on the unit cost/price when creating the orders, or bringing these values from another system.

I'm marking this idea as Future Consideration since at the moment we are not considering enhancing our sales and purchasing modules in general nor supporting taxes in particular. In the meantime, I suggest those to be entered on an external accounting software and brought to Fusion Operations (via Excel, for example).
