Improved function for Batch Cost Update CHANGE button

Improved function for Batch Cost Update CHANGE button

When I use the Batch Cost Update page, the CHANGE button will come up on items that have not actually changed price. I believe it is a decimal error that should be fixed. This bug makes it difficult to find and update the product prices that have actually changed because the CHANGE button does not function correctly.

I would like to suggest you add a threshold for the CHANGE button on the Batch Cost Update page. The threshold can either be fixed or variable by the user. For example, the button will only appear if the change exceeds +/- $0.001. I get lots of these change buttons but actually the price hasn't changed, it's just showing more decimal places. I do not need this level of decimal places on Batch Cost Update. Even if I push the change button and save, the change button will still exist for the same item. It is annoying. Just wanted to let you know about this strange behavior.

Hello @adamL79LL ,

I agree that this behavior must be fixed. Did you know that it is possible to change the number of decimal places in the system by using the setting "Decimal Digits on costs / prices"?

My suggestion is applying the number of decimals defined here in the "New cost" field, in the batch cost update menu.

What are your thoughts?
