Enhanced Filtering Options in Analytics

Enhanced Filtering Options in Analytics

Enhanced Filtering Options in Analytics
The current analytics system provides valuable insights but can be challenging to navigate when it comes to filtering data. Many times, isolating specific information requires exporting the data to Excel, which not only adds unnecessary steps but also includes numerous fields that aren’t needed. This makes the process time-consuming, as users must spend extra effort deleting or fixing the data to get the results they need. More intuitive and robust filtering options within the platform would make it easier to quickly find the exact data needed, saving time and effort. This would improve the overall user experience and make analytics more accessible for everyone, regardless of their technical skills.

Suggestions:

  • Introduce multi-level filtering to allow users to filter by multiple criteria (e.g., date range, project, status) simultaneously.
  • Add a dynamic search feature to locate specific data more easily.
  • Provide the option to save frequently used filter presets for quick access.
  • Allow users to select only the necessary fields for export to avoid clutter and reduce time spent cleaning up data in Excel.

Hi @jimmya333

Thank you for posting this idea. Can you share more on the two topics below?

  • Introduce multi-level filtering to allow users to filter by multiple criteria (e.g., date range, project, status) simultaneously.
    • This is possible as of today, since multiple filters can be used simultaneously in the analytics and reports screens. Is(Are) there any particular filter(s) that you would Fusion Operations to have?
  • Add a dynamic search feature to locate specific data more easily.
    • Could you share one or more examples here?
