Add PDF documents to Work Instructions

Allow PDF files to be attached to a Work Instruction and work instruction steps

This will allow assembly drawings to be attached viewed by the operator while they are building the items.

Allow the addition of PDF documents to work instructions.

Having to convert all our PDFs to images is very cumbersome.

Furthermore, embedding PDF documents within articles is not a viable solution because bulk edits can only be made through work instructions.

allow to add by each operation (filter by code) the correspondent PDF work instruction.

I'd just like to add that you can today quickly associate (via bulk actions) the Work Instructions to a specific set of operations. As a consequence, if we provide you a way to associate a PDF to a Work Instruction, then you could view that same PDF by associating it to the Work Instruction associated to the Operations.

Hello David, currently on work instructions you can add only jpg files and not PDF files, it would be great to allow PDF files instead of only images. For example, we need to convert our work instructions that are PDF files into pictures, to load them on work instructions.

Hello @qualidadeJKJCN . Precisely, and that's the core goal of this idea. If we ever implement it, you will be able to upload PDFs to multiple operations via Work Instructions.
