Y Axis Lathe Milling Past Center Post Problem

I'm using the Mazak QT250MSY post from the library.  I have a part that is 6" diameter and has a slot through the face.  See attached picture.  The machine will only go 3/4" past center in X.  I'm using an adaptive clearing path.  When I output the code it goes completely across the part just as it shows in the picture.  How can I get it to obey the travel limits? I think it should be rotating C 180 degrees so that it can come out on the same path it entered the slot.

I looked through the post and xAxisMinimum is set to 0mm.  I also found the function doesToolpathFitInXYRange, so I think it has this ability, but I'm not specifying something correctly.  Thanks!

I made a model with slot across middle, downloaded the post and produced code, I don't run Mazaks but I saw G12.1 and G13.1 in code that seems as good as one I would run on my machine,........... polar mode.

Tool cuts to the model center point, then C axis rotates 180 degrees and tool cuts back to top of the model.

Thanks!  I think this has more to do with my mis-understanding of polar milling.  Going to be trying this soon on the machine.
