I have been looking at Fanuc, but it looks like Fanuc has a special syntax, with Q letter. I am looking for more standard ISO commands, like G81, G83, and so on. This is for a Roeders (RMS6) machine, it looks like this machine is accepting standard ISO for drilling. Thanks for your advice, and help.

The "Q" command is in the line of code for G73 (Chip Breaking) and G83 (Deep drilling with pecking) and is standard ISO canned cycle output for Drilling cycle with "Pecking" requirement.

The G81 drilling cycle is a straight feedin/rapid out so does not have/need the "Q" command in the cycle.

The Fanuc Post Processor should work, it is after all the "Grandfather" of all code and a lot of machine controls use a version of Fanuc, often "Branded" as their own.

Do you have a Manual with G and M code lists for the control or some sample code in the Machine Control that will show you what the control accepts ??

Yeah, it's funny how the standard of RS-274D was adopted after Fanuc was using it for about 15-20 years prior.

I have a 406 pages manual, but nothing in it related to drilling, or the G commands related to drilling. The only pages in the manual where drilling is mentioned are about probing holes. But somewhere they say it is compatible with ISO G-Code, so I guess it is OK to use Fanuc code, as you say.

There are a lot of Roeders specific commands (mainly about and around probing), but it looks like standard ISO code should work in all others area.

Thanks for your help, and best regards.
