when making a new lathe setup in manufacturing upon hitting ok it changes my wcs orientation

im just following along with the training videos and this happens to me. it puts my X in the Y position what it looks like

Do you have a screen recording showing what's going on, or a link to the training material you're following along with?

If you notice, it's also changing your View Cube; the whole part is rotating. If you don't want it to change, you're going to need to define what your X axis is. You can select an entity on the part (such as a slot or hole) or align it to the Origin axis.

could you maybe try what I did because it gets stuck in that position and can't move the X back after hitting ok? I tried what you said
