Newbie

I had this problem yesterday.

I entered a machine profile and the problem went away....I changed other things

The problem is back today after fusion 360 crashed and continued to crash reloading my file.

I am not sure what clears this problem and am unable to find what cleared it yesterday ...

You probably have G28 or G53 at the start of your code/operation. Your post processor probably has an option to us either of those or to use [Clearance Plane]. Try using that instead.

AAAh seems to be working

Where would I set this up so that it is always set to clearance height rather than editing nc program set ups every time

As far as I recall, Fusion retains the settings of the post processor last selected. However, one could also edit the post processor to default to your preferred settings.
