Does anyone have any advice on which type of milling head I should start with when I'm entering data for an onsrud 37-82 v carve bit.  I want to do some engraving in mdf but I don't see an engraving head type.  Am I missing something?  It looks like I've got to start with either a chounter sink or a chamfer mill type.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mike

Chamfer Mill is the tool type you want to use here.

Is that simply because a countersink tool will only be made available for drilling operations?  I'm having a hard time getting the chamfer mill to show a straight side like the actual tool I'm using.  Thanks for your help so far.

It may not be a very accurate representation or all that ideal, but it would probably be easier to simply call the shank diameter the same as the tool diameter as long as the flute length is accurate, and the shoulder is equal to it.

@porsbym are there plans to make this a little more flexible? Adding a shaft section won't work either, or at least I couldn't get it to make that tool.
