Unable to install Brackets

I get this warning when I try and post a NC file.

Is there something I should be doing?

Haven't really tried Fusion much on my Mac but my first thought is: is your Fusion from the app store? Maybe uninstall that and run the installer from Autodesks site.

First impression is some kind of "rights" issue.

Yes, it could be a right issue.

Can you try to change the security preference to see if it works?

open the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, click on the General tab, unlock the pane, and set it to allow applications from anywhere.

I am new to the Windows version of Fusion.

Which is what I am working on here at work now. (They just finally gave me a laptop to be able to help out with fixture building)

So what should I do with this windows computer to get Brackets installed properly?

It installed for me automatically after I try post processing in CAM for the first time.

The first thing to do is try and post to your desk top or in your My Documents folder. The second is try turning off your antiviruses and see if you can post then.

I just get an error message everytime I do post.

What is your UAC(User Account Control) settings? You may want to try to turn it off if it is not.

Well Brackets finally installed on its own when I went in to configure a post. inside of Cam.

It promted me and asked if I wanted to install it. And I clicked yes.

Not much of an answer but this is now resolved.

All, as a quick addition to this Brackets post. The following refers to Apple Mac version of Fusion360 and Brackets.

I was having trouble with Brackets not working due to a previously installed version conflicting with the Fusion360 integrated version. Both versions broke. To solve the problem closed Fusion360 then I deleted my independent version of Brackets from the Application folder. Then I went to ~/%USER%/Library/Application Support/Brackets/ and deleted all files and subfolders. I then reopened Fusion360 and generated a CAM Post Process file using the 'open in brackets' option. The Application Support/Brackets folder was regenerated and Brackets opened successfully.
