Unable to have Z negative while also having X and Y negative

I am currently setting up an older Hendrick CNC router and home (0,0,0) is set to the top right of the table, with the spindle fully retracted. All X and Y coordinates are negative, and Z is also negative.

I have the stock set up so that it is in the home corner. The issue I'm having in Fusion is that I cannot seem to get the Z to be negative when setting the origin with 'Stock box point' to the top right of the stock. Only Y and X are able to be negative and attempting to make Z negative moves the origin completely.

Any suggestions are much appreciated! I'm fairly new to this so I'm still working on understanding how this machine works.

You can change it from stock model orientation, BUT

You are confusing Machine coordinates (G53 or G28) with your work offset coordinates (G54).

When the Z moves down into the material to cut, are you expecting to see Z positive values? What post processor are you using? Does your machine utilize work offsets (G54, 55 etc)?
