Turning | How do I create a toolpath for a specific face/ faces?

Hi everyone.

im trying to create a roughing and finishing feature that with only machine a grove and leave the other side of the part untouched to be machined after

I’ll make an image to help explain cause I’m terrible at explaining things.

An image would be great, but would you also be able to share your Fusion file here?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d/.f3z file in your reply.

i want to machine the grey part as one operation and then the blue faces as a separate operation.

in the 2nd tab of your toolpaths, set the Back to the furthest section you want to actually turn.

Please click "Accept Solution" if what I wrote solved your issue!

Yep, two toolpaths, with the Back set to one selection and the Front set to that same selection for the second toolpath:
