I'm Working on an Archtop electric Guitar. All the toolpaths and milling were fine and I decided to add an access opening in the back plate.  None of the Toolpath Options I have tried has enabled me to get a smooth shelf for the cover to sit on. Would greatly appreciate some assistance/guidance File attached

Thanks

Dennis

If we take that into account and process as much as possible, Scallop may be the easy way to go.

A small-diameter ball end mill was selected to machine the corners as much as possible. If you want to machine more corners, you can use a narrower end mill.
