From the beginning section of the post processor:

Turning post for Tormach 8L with a PathPilot control. Use Turret 0 for Positional Turret, Turret 1 for QCTP on Front Post, Turret 2 for QCTP on Rear Post, Turret 3 for Gang Tooling on Front Post, Turret 4 for Gang Tooling on Rear Tool Post.

every time I change the turret on the tool edit, it errors the post. only turret it works on is 0. I tried the tormach 15L post and it will work, is this an ok option?

What error do you receive, and can you share a sample Fusion file?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

So wait, you're using SW and HSM? Why not use Fusion with integrated CAD/CAM and improved toolpath options? Regardless, I'd still like to see the file. It's possible that this error might be unique to those software platforms and not the post.

yes, im using solidworks with hsmworks in it. and yes i think after doing a couple tests in fusion360 and creating a post for them it seamed to work correctly. im just more familiar with solidworks and have been using it for 20 yrs.

fusion is just a new adventure. ill keep trying a few work arounds.

You're likely to find that Turning in Fusion is more polished and will quickly outpace what is offered in our other CAM packages.
