Tool path and machining advice for slitting saw on live tooling

I hope to seek some advice on slitting some 17-4 "A" on a Haas ST20Y.  The part is about 1.125" OD and 0.600" ID.  It reduces down to 0.650" OD and .600" ID where the "collet" is.  During design, does it matter how I slot?  IOW, 8 individual slots or 4 slots that go all the way across.  I went with a single slot then a circular pattern of 8.

To me, it seems like it would be better for doing a slitting op all the way across both sides then do a pattern for all 4 slots.  Ideas?

Also, how bad will this 17-4 condition A be to machine and slot?  Slots are 1/32" wide.

Help or advice welcome.  BTW, customer wants H900 "after" machining because he likes the root beer color  🙂

Just treat 17-4 as slightly harder 300 series Stainless - I'd do one full slot then pattern 4x.
