Thanks a Lot Fusion

Nice way to start the day

Open my file nice make some changes nice

Then I get a start up screen  tells what you want to only one option I want design and manufacture oh well click on design

I get another dumb screen question click on home button....ah back again

open file says its got a recovery file oh good

**** previous file lost about 4 hours work...can't find my saved file from last night....

Geez thanks alot

There does appear to have been an issue with many users seeing the "Start Up" screen. However, I think this is the first report I've seen of someone losing data... 🤔

yup maybe a way out of the loop but it is not obvious

Is there a way I can permanantly lose that start up screen

@jscott6SWZG if you are referring to Fusion Home you can adjust this in preferences under preview features.

I have always had mine turned off, but this morning, the Fusion home page was active, no idea why.

You shouldn't see it again (although it may still pop up for other workspaces; MFG, Sim, ECAD etc)

We've disabled this internally, it was not intended to be presented just yet.

Different teams work on different areas. Stuff like this doesn't take resources from the teams that make/break/fix toolpaths 🙂

 

To your initial issue; are you saying that you had a "File Recovery" dialog behind the new prompt, there was no way out of the prompt and the only option was to force-close Fusion, resulting in loss of data?
