I'm trying to create tool profiles for a couple of these Stellram ultra-mini tools and the geometry is kinda messing with my head in part because their shaft has this weird offset thing going on.
Do I put the tool in with the cutting edge relative to the axis of the holder, which would have the cutting diameter smaller than the actual shaft or...
Do I model it to reflect a cutting depth from the edge of the shaft?
This is being used on our Haas ST10y. It's times like this I really wish I could use a model for the tools.
