Hi,
Which strategy I should use to cut as much as I can from the highlighted area? Is there a way to use "trace" in a vertical direction? The part will be machined on 5-axis Haas UMC-750.

Hi @Seb.Reamda,

I think Pencil might be able to help you with finishing those internal corners.

Hope this helps,

Tom,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I've just finished to generate the stencil toolpath and it works great!

Somehow yesterday I couldn't sort the 3D pencil toolpath.

Again thanks a lot!

FYI you'll have a radius left in the corners on the shallow surface. Considering you have a UMC 750, you could tilt the head normal to the flat surfaces and use horizontal using a flat bottom tool.

Another viable solution.
