Stock outside of center Mill/Turn setup

Hello,

Please see attached picture.

I am trying to do a mill turn setup but the stock isn't wanting to stay in the center.

Not sure whats going on without looking at the file but you could try drawing your stock in the design side then select it "from solid" in your setup.

Looks like you have selected one of the faces for the Z axis so that is where the stock is being centered, try going to your Origin and selecting the Z axis there instead of on the Model, worth a try 🙂

Would you be able to share your Fusion file here or privately?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply. To share the file privately, it's the same process, but email it to me: seth DOT madore AT autodesk DOT com

I'm sorry I have been inactive on this thread. I have been very busy.

I got it to work it just took a lot of trial and error with the setup.

I believe I had to set my stock up while I was in a turning setup then I had to change it to a Mill/turn

Thanks
