'Spiral' as a Steep and shallow 'shallow passes' option

It was great when we were able to do parallel as a steep and shallow shallow option. think we could do the same thing with spiral? I have a couple jobs that spiral is the ideal choice but it is unable to offset the axis. When I use steep and shallow Scallop it does one half and then the other when it could all be done in one continuous path

Just to make sure, have you tried ticking the "Continuous" checkbox when selecting Scallop for your shallow passes?

Yes, I have clicked the continuous checkbox.

by definition scallop starts at the edges and works its way in. So on a cone like feature it starts at the base and goes about half way up, then goes from the top to meet in the middle.

Cant show the part but here is the toolpath
