wasnt this posted before? And it has something to do with the pause button only being on the actual bars and not the space between on mac or something.

Does CTRL+Space work?

Ctrl+Space toggles Play/Pause on Windows.  The Command key on Mac is the equivalent of the Control key on Windows.  So on Mac it should be Command+Space to toggle Play/Pause.  Fusion will respond to Command+Space.  However, there is a problem.  By default, on Mac, Command+Space is intercepted by Mac Spotlight.

So Command+Space normally doesn't make it to Fusion.  You can go to System Settings and change the hotkey for Spotlight, then Command+Space will work in Fusion.  But don't do that.  We have made Fusion respond to Ctrl+Command+Space to toggle Pause/Play in order to avoid this problem.  The tooltip on Mac for the Play/Pause button says Ctrl+Command+Space.

Also, programming2C78B is right, you need to click on the bars, not the space between or around them.
