Hey there Fusion Dev Team -

In Manufacturing - SIMULATE tool path - 'SHOW SPINDLE DIRECTION' toggle option does not function now.

Maybe after the last software update?

Hmm, it's working on my test, can you share your file here?

@jon46XEC

Check your spindle speed, if you have it set higher than the spindle speed that is assigned to the tool in your tool library.

My test is showing the spindle direction if the spindle speed is below the spindle speed set for the tool in the tool library it`s working, if above the spindle direction doesn`t work.

However resetting the tool spindle speed gets it working again so does look like a "bug" from here 🙂

Hi Seth - Thanks for the quick response and your attention -

Here's a link to a test file that repeats the same display bug on my end.

EG - Thanks for that suggestion.

Gave that a try but unfortunately no luck.

@jon46XEC

Sorry but I don`t have anything else right now, hopefully @seth.madore can get an answer from the developers.

I have tried a number of different files and all work OK, the only file that doesn`t work is the one you uploaded so no idea what is happening.

Sorry for the delay in response, I've been on business travel for the past week. The issue comes from not having "Live Tool" selected in the tool library. Turn that back on and you will get the proper visual. In addition, having that turned off will not send the proper codes to the NC program and your spindle wouldn't turn on.

Seth -
Well that works! - Strange though, I was understanding that toggle to be specific to lathe tooling.
I'm using a HAAS VF4SS Mill and a couple Laguna CNC routers.

Ah, that's an oversight in the tooltip. Spindle Probes are also not intended to be spun....
