Simplify tool approach when milling

Hello,

Fusion generates a very elegant but overcomplicated approach path which makes it difficult to see where you Z height is when looking at an NC program on the machine monitor. Instead of Z-10.00  you get a polar coordinate around which the tool rolls until it gets to the target point. It is only a 32 year old Heidenhain 3 axis mill.

I want to go back to simple straight tool approaches so I can edit the program on the machine & have fewer lines crammed with useless moves.

I can't see any way of editing the tool approach strategy. Please help.

That is showing a vertical lead in radius. Refer to attached pic to see how to turn that off.

Man alive, how did I miss that. Thank you. How to make it a default accross the board or is it to do in each tool specification?

Of course, set to user default. Thanks again.

No worries, I have had my share of those myself.
