I'm a woodworker who is a complete novice at CAD but would like to take advantage of some of its capabilities. To be brief...I have scanned (using Qlone) a small 3D model of a piece of furniture that I would like to make. I would like to scale it up to full size and then take 3/4" horizontal slices of the model (22 in total). The furniture piece will be built from stack laminated 3/4" thick plywood. It will be roughly 18" tall by 32" wide.......a base for a coffee table. (see photo's). I would like to be able to look at the individual layers of this 22 piece object so as to be able to cut out the individual pieces that will be stacked on each other.....layer by layer. Any help you could render in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Could you share the scanned file i could give it a shot for you.
Fusion is pretty limited on what you can do with meshes, i would try following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5O9Kt09ymiI
This will let you slice your scanned model into .75" layers and save them as SVG's which you can then import into fusion extrude and cut away. I tried to do it all within fusion but the mesh tools are fairly new.
