retract adjustment between work offsets while machining multiple parts

I need to remove or adjust the Z retract function between changing work offsets while doing using multiple work offsets.  Has anyone figured out how to do this or to tell it to stay down and retract only to a certain height.

I am machining multiple parts use a different work offset for each part.  I am currently probing each part.  I have it optimized by operation to cut the same operation on each part before changing tools, but between each part my Z axis retracts to home.  As we are doing a lot of parts and have multiple tool changes, having it retract about an inch or 2 instead of going all the way to the tool change point between parts would save a lot of time.

"I'm using a HAAS machine

Is there any way control this in fusion without typing it in manually?

There are not many options when you use multiple work offsets.  The only way I know of to keep the tool down is to use one work offset and cam multiple parts in one setup.  This is a good option if you are cutting multiple parts from a single piece of stock, but will greatly increase your programming time.  If I were you I would just hand edit the code.

did you have any luck with this? i could nut it out myself (have edited my posts a fair bit already) but if someone has already done it that would be awesome. I'd especially like a post property where I could change it from say "full retract OR set z height"
