Ah, sorry, wrong forum.

I'm working on wooden 3D contour maps and my finishing pass uses a scallop tool path with a 1/32 radius but it leaves small tool marks.  I can't really clean it all up by hand so I've been thinking about generating another tool path using a 1/4" end brush.

Does anyone have any experience using CNC end brushes in Fusion 360.

Do I just assume it's a 1/4" end mill?  Feels like that wouldn't get into the smaller areas.

Thanks for any advice.

I've not used that exact brand, but I have used the Xebec Cross-Hole style, which are designed to "splay" out. In your case, yes, you would consider it as a 1/4" endmill, but I'm not sure what realistic improvements you will see, if the goal is to reduce cycle time. It seems better that you swap to a larger ball endmill and do your finishing that way. What size tools are you using, aside from a bull endmill with R.032 rads (or was that a ball endmill?)
