Ramp toolpath doesn't keep contact with the part

Greetings,

I'm trying to rough mill the outside of my part with an high feed end mill. I would like for the tool to maintain contact with the part to avoid entering and exiting the cut. I tried to use a ramp toolpath but no matter which parameter I change (contact point, tool containment, linking etc.) the tool always exit and reenter cut at the corners. I tried to eliminate the modelled fillets at the corner but nothing changed; changing lead-in and lead-out has some effect but not the desired one and I don't understand the logic of it.

Using 2D contour with the ramp option does work but it doesn't machine the steep part (left side of the model).

Is there a way to fix this? the part seems pretty simple to me.Autodesk Fusion 01_05_2024 10_55_12.pngAutodesk Fusion 01_05_2024 10_48_16.pngAutodesk Fusion 01_05_2024 10_48_25.pngAutodesk Fusion 01_05_2024 10_48_36.png

you can try disabling lead ins and offsetting your machining boundary.

Hi @stefanoprato8

Thanks for feedback. I think @programming2C78B is right and trimming is caused by machining boundaries. Could you please try the following options?
