ramp breaks chain

Maybe someone can help. I am using the ramp feature and i can not figure out how to no make it break the chain. i need a continuous spiral to the bottom.  I posted the program. the path i am referring to is in set up labeled  "upper side 1" sumitomo" Thanx

yep saw that. some time ago some one gave me this ramp example that doesnt break the chain.

Just looking at your contour op, you are misusing model selection in the op. Model selection should only be used to add surfaces to the model selected in the setup, if you just select some surfaces like you have the op will not see the rest of the model and you run the risk of toolpaths going through the rest of the model. To confine the toolpath use boundaries or touch\avoid surfaces.

still breaks the chain. I can use a different process. Bore was my first option. used a lot of memory. my question is now why it works on the example and not on mine.

Thank you. Seems I tried to give it too much information and confusing myself in the process. Missing one feature caused me to add 20 more. Still learning the system.

If you have a problem where an op works in one document and not another, copy and paste the working op into your document and use compare and edit on the right click menu to find the differences.
