Hello 

 

I am having some problems machining with 2D adaptive clearing

 

ive tryed to machine by selecting the buttom face of what i want machined and selecting the contours of what i dont want machined.. but it keeps machining the areas i dont want to use..

 

Here is a screenshot. 

 

As you can see it keeps roughing throug the taps even thoug ive selected them...  ive selected the buttom surface in this operation.

Can you Export the part and attach the f3d file. To export use the file menu-Export and select f3d as the type.

OK the problem is the chamfer around the part is making an undercut if you reduce it to 0.25mm it works. At the momment the outer profile is broken by the bosses and that's confusing the 2d op. I've attached an updated file, to import use Design from file.

One more tip always select the part you're machining in the setup under model.
