problem in fabrication mode not following toolpath perfectly

so I have been having problems with the tool path in fabrications mode with 2d profile laser head not all the lines are being followed anyone got any ideas

Could you share your Fusion file here?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

So, good news and bad news..

The bad: this is likely being caused by the geometry that you imported. What was the source of the file?

The good: If we create a new sketch and project all the geometry onto it (a long tedious task), we get toolpaths that are perfect:

so the source of the fill is a customers DXF they sent over.

how would you recommend projecting it onto a new sketch?

Did you take a look at the file I shared in my response above? I've done the work for you 🙂

 

To answer your question specifically; create Sketch, press "P" for Project, select all the curves, click OK.
