Probe inspect failing!

So i am trying to inspect a radius of a 4.5" half circle and i keep getting an error saying my probe radius isnt calibrated correctly. My haas tech re-calibrated just days ago so im sure its correct. anyone else have this issue?

Hi @Anonymous,

Are you using the Inspect surface strategy, probe geometry, or probe WCS?

If you are using inspect surface do you have commissioning mode on?

If so turn it off and try again.

If that worked there are a few possible causes. with commissioning mode on we are checking to make sure the calibration macro variables you are using are correct.
Have you changed the values from the default ones in the post? 10556 10558 10559

Can you take a photo of these macro variables for me to look at.

What diameter probe are you using?

Sorry for all the questions but will just save a load of time in the long run.

i am using inspect surface strategy,  i do have commissioning mode on i will try it really quick with it off. but i will give that a try.

the stylus has a 6mm tip. im not 100 percent sure what macro 10557 is im pretty sure 10556 is the stylus radius.

attached are the variables and the error

I just tried running without the commissioning mode and it gave the error command found on DPRINT

@Anonymous,

The error on the DPRNT line is probably underscored in the first few DPRNT lines

Can you attach the NC file for me to look at.
Also just manually take out the underscored form the DPRNT lines at the start and see if this gets rid of the error.

I think its a few software versions on the HAAS controller that doesn't like the underscores, it works fine on our VF2 but your not the first person to mention this.
Replace the Underscores with a * this makes a space when the results file is created.

I'm working on a post that will take the underscores and replace them with a *.

Hi @Anonymous,

Looking at the NC file, the sequence numbers are on. I know HAAS defiantly don't allow the sequence numbers to be on with a DPRNT.

Turn those off and give it a go.
