Post processor export .FAILED gcode

Hi all

 

I`m scratching my head to why is the post processor export files that have .FAILED extension.

 

I guess theres something going on but i cannot work out whay.

 

can any one please help me with that issue? 

The messsage saying before i post process that i have multipole WCS in setups but to my eye they are the same.

I just posted it with the base fanuc post and looked at the error log.

In your adaptive path you have specified AIR as the coolant type. This is not defined in the post processor so it doesn't know what to do and has to error. 

Options, if you do have air coolant then it will be a case of modifying the post so it knows what codes to call.

gotcha, 

 

disabled the "Air" in all my tools and post process now went through.

I would though that the post would handle the "Air"

What M code does your machine need to turn on the air?

Here is an example of what to change in the post. Just put this as the air coolant line in the post. (Line 190 in the stock Mach3mill post)

 

{id: COOLANT_AIR, on: 13}

 


I took a guess at M13 but make it whatever your machine needs :slightly_smiling_face:

There isn't any for air. There is a mist under M7. I'll change my tools to mist which I'm planning to run anyway.
