Post Processor 4 axis for Heidenhein

Hi, does anyone have an information regarding getting the 4 axis to work for a Heidenhein post processor?

I am trying to cam a basic part to run on a 4 axis, and it outputs a file but the machine errors out. In the posted file it includes the B and C axis, which the machine doesnt have, nor does the part reuire them. Tried  a few changes and it outputs with a plane spatial and then errors out on an axis limit switch (very small part in the 4 axis centre of the bed so should have no issues)

Is there an updated file that someone has edited to get around the issue? I have had the chance to have an engineer look over it and edit the post processor but still isnt working right.

Thanks

Which heidenhain control are you running (426, 530, ...)?

On a 620 PLANE SPATIAL should work without issues. Are you using the latest version of the post processor? If not, you can download it here:

We are using the latest version of the post processor, but still having problems. it appears to also turn the plane so the machine either goes to the wrong location (too high above the part, below the part, or off to one side) or errors out on an axis limit switch issue due to the same problem.

Have tried turning planes off and using cycle 19 but no luck there either, even tried deleting the cycle 19 from the code and adding a linear A axis move to rotate the bed, but still have the location issues as if the whole plane has turned.

Test program has been to add spanner flats to stock on 6 sides.

Hi,

Im currently having an issue with a post. i am using the standard heidenhain post. im programming up a 4 axis job and as it stands it is posting out using the Cycle 19 function. this is causing me an issue as the kinematics on the machine are out so as you can expect i cannot run my program. what i want to do is not a difficult or complex job and is really only using 3+1, so i was wondering whether there is any way in the post to change the output to just post out single Linear A axis moves instead on Cycle 19 as im programming on the center line of the A axis this would be a solution to all my problems.
