Polishing Program Curves

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to project these curves to the top of this drawing and I keep on getting an error. This might be that the top curve is made of multiple faces. I have created a program when the top is one complete solid face, but I am not sure how to make this top one solid curve.

Please help!

MR

Thank you!

What exactly are you trying to accomplish, a modeling or machining solution?

Hi Seth,

I figured this out last week. Basically I needed to fit a bunch of splines that I can project onto a curve for a robot program to follow. I figured out how to project the path, then I needed to analyze what pattern would give me the best polishing pattern.

The top of the curve was made up of several faces instead of one, I think that is why I was having issues.
