PLASTIC MOULD FEEDER

Can anyone show me how to get fusion to machine these 8 tapered extruder feeders as I  can only seem to get it to machine them parallel or tow one depth and I am trying to avoid multiple tools and stop start marks as this needs to be a smooth finish

cheers

What sort of machine is this to be machined on?

4 or 5 axis?

Ok, 4 axis limits your options to Flow with 4 axis limit turned on

Its not the greatest toolpath but in this case it works quite decent as the UV vectors of the tapered grooves are along the groove, often they arent and Flow wont work well.

see attatched.

If you have any more questions let me know 👍

FYI there are better 4 axis toolpaths coming(soonish, no confirmed dates) which should handle stuff like this much better

You normally get that error if you have set one of your axes incorrectly.

i would check the setup:

They way i had it works fine on my machine:
