pitch bug ?? turning

i made a male part with a 1/2-13 thread. in cam it defaults to 0.07887 pitch which is not 1/13 = 0.07692.

is it me

The Pitch in thread does not inherit anything from the model. That comes down to your tool and toolpath settings:

 

What you have in your dialog appears to be a 2mm pitch. Manual correction is required.
