I'm trying to use part alignment on a casting body, we have done this part before and part alignment worked great but when i import the results i get yellow arrows in a lot of places (mostly in the z axis) Can anyone help me with what this means because they don't show as above or below tolerance?

When i import the inspection results there's an error that states "1 surface inspection contains points that could not be projected" I presume this is the problem but not sure on what is causing the issue.

Further information: We are using the casting body to select probing points and the same body is selected when importing the results. (Same method as last time)

Many Thanks, Jon

Hi @jonEP2M6,

These are Unprojected points I did quite a long explanation here on what they are and how to deal with them. See post 5

Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.
