Parallel Toolpath incorrect stepover on steep area

Hello,

I am finishing a contoured surface with a ballnose endmill and the Parallel Toolpath is leaving a cusp on the vertical side of the surface, and I can't seem to make Fusion machine it correctly. I've tried it with the Machine Steep Areas option on and off with similar results. See screen shots attached. Is there a way to scan this surface without leaving a cusp?

Thanks,

Dave

That is the nature of the parallel toolpath, it really is only suitable for shallow areas and the machine steep areas option has never worked well

to get a constant stepover on a feature like that the Flow toolpath will give a much better result
